Yolanda Johnson Named 2023 William F. Nettles Volunteer of the Year

The William F. Nettles Volunteer of the Year was created by the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce to be given to a member of the Chamber that has done the most to further the programs of the Chamber, and on Thursday, May 18, 2023 Yolanda Johnson owner and founder of Integrated Roots International® was named the 2023 William F. Nettles Volunteer of the Year Award sponsored by Cantey, Tiller, Pierce & Green. 

“A very important lesson that I learned early in my career was to value leadership and community as much as I value my work,” says Johnson. 

Johnson joined the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce in May of 2021. After launching Integrated Roots International® earlier that year. She was looking for a way to build stronger connections, increase access to premium marketing tools and resources, and gain access to premiere professional development platforms for her new business. Within her first year of membership Johnson would be invited to join the Board of Directors. Johnson is recognized for her commitment to community including event and membership recruitment, volunteership, event attendance, and overall eagerness to lend a hand.
